Hi, I’m Paula, Patisserie Chef and creative mind behind Whisk and Spoon!

Confession: While I make the Christmas Marshmallows, I play cheesy, hallmark style Christmas Movies in the background!

I qualified as a Patisserie Chef at AIT in 1995, and my career has taken me through some amazing kitchens – from 5-star hotels and bespoke dessert companies to a cookie business. My passion? Fine details, flavours to die for, and beautiful decorations that bring joy to every treat.

Whisk and Spoon first came to life in 2015 with dreams of starting a cake company. Life took a sweet detour when I joined a Fortune Cookie company, but by 2020, Whisk and Spoon was relaunched with a fresh purpose: to bring people delicious treats and heartfelt gifts during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Today, I take pride in creating small-batch marshmallows and confections that rewrite the rules of what a marshmallow can be. Forget the cornflour-coated supermarket bouncers! My marshmallows are soft, squishy, and packed with bold flavors that grown-ups love – truly an indulgent treat.

Whisk and Spoon is all about playing with flavours, crafting something special, and sharing the joy of handmade confections. Whether you’re sending a gift or treating yourself, I hope you’ll love every bite as much as I love creating them.

Let’s make your day a little sweeter – explore the current range order for, or get in touch to craft some bespoke sweet magic!

The Kitchen

At Whisk and Spoon, every treat is made with care in small batches using premium-quality ingredients. From marshmallows to confections, everything is crafted with attention to detail in a certified, registered A-grade home based kitchen.

Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to making your day sweeter!
